Encouraging Environmental Awareness In the Upper Lynn Canal

Tee Shirts

A-Star helicopters are commonly used to transport thousands of tourists into remote places in Alaska.  There are two main disturbing environmental consequences from the expansion of the heli-tourism industry:  1)  A-Stars burn about 50 gallons of fuel per hour, and 2)  scientific studies show helicopter overflights disturb wildlife.  Mountain goats are one of the most sensitive animals to human disturbance.

Wear this tee shirt designed by local artist RoBear and help spread the word about negative environmental impacts caused by helicopter tourism.

Available sizes:  M, L, and XL

Short sleeve shirt: $15 + $3 postage

Organic cotton long sleeve shirt: $20 + $3 postage.
