Tok Dog Mushers Association The Tok Dog Mushing Association is looking forward to hosting their 50th Race of Champions on March 27th - 28th. It's hard to believe that 50 years have gone by since the first organized race in 1954. Dog mushing is not new to Tok. Although organized racing began in 1954 under the sponsorship of the Tok Dog Mushing Association, the use of dogs as a means of transportation came into practice long before that date.
